Davenport

This house is centrally located. There is a park a few blocks away for your family to enjoy. It is close to our local restaurants and just minutes away from the refinery. It is located next to a small canyon. We’ve even had deer in the front yard. This house is only about 20 minutes away from Lake Meredith. There are several hiking trails, biking trails, boating, fishing, and of course, swimming at the lake. No pets allowed… The space Davenport is a nice, comfortable home. The master bedroom has a king size bed with its own private bathroom. The shower is small but functional. This room has room darkening shades. The hall bath has a nice size shower/bath. It has good water pressure and the water gets HOT! We do provide all the linens you will need. We also have a shampoo/conditioner/body wash combo in this bathroom. The middle bedroom also has a king size bed with room darkening shades. The third bedroom has a queen/full size bed and has a beautiful view out the front window. We get deer in the front yard occasionally. Davenport has an open concept living/dining/kitchen. The kitchen is small but functional. It has everything you need to cook if you decide to. We also have a propane grill and a charcoal grill. The dining room seats 6 comfortably and you can even watch tv while you eat. Davenport has Netflix that you are welcome to use. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible while you are here. We hope that you love staying at Davenport and always wish to accommodate our guests. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and back yard. The driveway and car port is yours to park in. You do not have access to the garage on the property. Those doors remain locked. Other things to note This house is not set up for long term contractor’s stay. The washing machine is very small and cannot accommodate the fr clothing or uniforms. Long term guests are more than welcome, but they will have to use a laundromat. Long term guests are also required to keep the house clean. All cleaning supplies will be provided. Spills in the refrigerator or oven need to be cleaned up immediately. It makes it almost impossible to clean up weeks or months later. Please keep the bathrooms, especially toilets, clean. If the house requires a lot of extra cleaning, you will be charged an extra cleaning fee at the end of your stay. We ask that you not take any bedding, pillows, towels, blankets, or dishes with you at the end of your stay. You will be charged for any missing items. Long term guests MUST throw away ALL of their food before they leave. Please don’t leave food in the cabinets or refrigerator. Please make sure to put ALL the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it before you check out. We also ask that you leave the air conditioner set at 70. If you set it lower than that, it freezes in high heat days and you won’t have air conditioning. If any repairs are necessary, we will send that bill to our guests. The house is very well insulated and I promise 70 is more than comfortable, even in this Texas heat. Please don’t wear your work shoes in the house. We have provided a shoe rack by the front door for convenience. Long term stays are required to verify each person staying. You can easily send each person an invite on the Airbnb app. That way we know exactly who’s staying . We do not allow any overnight guests that aren’t on the reservation. You will be charged a fee per guest, per night. Please don’t give your door code to anyone that’s not on your reservation. As I said before, long term guests are always welcome, but we do have a few house rules.
