Nearby Killarney Beach, Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve, Flagstaff Hill Lookout, and local food options at Port Fairy are just a few of the local attractions in the area. The holiday home is set on a 30-acre farm, offering stunning views of Belfast Lough and the dunes bordering the Great Southern Ocean. This 139-square-foot tiny home features easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there may be agricultural noise as we are a working farm that tends to farm animals. For a well-rested stay, we recommend that guests bring earplugs with them. Guest access Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and its surroundings, except for the sheds, which require the host's permission in advance. Also, feel free to bring your own kayak; great for exploring Port Fairy Lough is easily accessible via a grass laneway, except when farm animals are being moved. If access is temporarily restricted, a sign will be posted at the gate. Farm Activities & Preorders: To help us prepare, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for the following: - Farm animal experience – available by prior arrangement. - Firewood – $20 per wheelbarrow load (currently unavailable due to fire ban season). Other things to note - Breakfast is available at an extra cost - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny home - Bring drinking water (or purchase directly from host) - Late check-ins must be arranged in advance (after 10 PM) - Full mobile reception, except 2degrees and Spark which have no signal - We have cattle, horses, donkeys, and a variety of feathered and furry animals - Given the farm setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION - FARM GUIDE: Full farm guidelines and policies will be provided prior to your booking. - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Pets are allowed by 24 hrs notice and must be kept on leash at all times. The full pet policies will be sent before arrival Important note: - Our water supply is rainwater, so please limit showers, particularly in the dry season - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - FIRE SAFETY: Outdoor fire pits are not permitted until further notice due to the current fire ban. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
