Chalet Parjohns – Our home away from home

Welcome to our 4 season, 4 bedroom, 4 acre waterfront cottage! From 18 DEC 2026 to 2 JAN 2027, we will only be accepting 7-night stays Booking Notes: 🐱🚫 Due to allergies, we cannot accept cats. 🐶✅ Dogs welcome, please tell us about them when booking. The space Inside, you'll find: • Spacious open plan main level with beautiful circular fireplace, smart audio system and space for eight at the dining table. • A peaceful sun room with remote working station and reading nook • Well-equipped kitchen • Downstairs den with 115" home theatre projector, Dolby Atmos audio, Bell Fibe TV, and docks for your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 system. • Four bedrooms, all with queen beds, one with en suite. • Main bathroom with Washlet bidet • 3 Gbps fibre internet Outside: • Huge waterfront with dock • Kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat. • 6-seater hot tub • Large deck off the living area with Weber grill • Beautiful garden • EV charger (10kW Level 2, J1772) Beyond: • Fantastic skiing at mont-ste-marie • Nearby hunting grounds (contact WT Outfitter) Guest access You'll have full access to the property, except for the garage (used for storage) and the bunkie (awaiting refurbishment). The vibe we're going for is more "staying at a friend's place", so you're also welcome to use anything you find, like cooking oils, spices, etc. Note that the house is located on a private road. The road and driveway are maintained all winter with a regular plowing service . Heavy snowfall can make access more difficult until the plow arrives, but the road is usually navigable with any car. Other things to note Be advised that Bedroom 4 is strictly speaking a den since it does not have windows. The water supply comes from a well. It was tested in 2022 and confirmed as 100% safe to drink, so no need to bring jugs of water! Note that if there's a power outage, the well pump will not function, so the water won't run. We provide backup power for the internet router in case of power outage so that you can make/receive phone calls. There's no cell service, so phone use is via Wi-Fi Calling only.
