Quiet charming room w/ roof terrace in A’dam Noord

If you’re looking for a quiet, cosy and safe place to stay, this is the place! This room built in 2022 is the only room on the top floor of our house. Our house is in a very peaceful neighborhood located 12 min bike from Amsterdam Centraal, and 10min walk from the metro stop « Noord » of the Noord-Zuid metro line that connects in a few minutes to A’dam Centraal. - Queer guests: you will feel safe in our home! - Smoking or (any) drugs: not allowed, neither inside, nor on the roof terrace. The space The room is the only room of the 3rd floor, with its private door (with a keylock) on the 2nd floor. A private stair leads to your room. This whole floor was built in 2022. The room is right under the roof, giving a « chalet » feeling with its wooden structure and its big windows. There is a private bathroom (with rainshower 🚿 ), a private wc 🚽 , sufficient towels, shampoo, soap and a hair dryer. [NOTE wrt toilets 🚽 : as you can see on the photos, your private bathroom is open on your bedroom, without a door separating your bathroom from your bedroom] The room has a double bed 🛏️, a small table with an armchair, a music box (Bluetooth) and 2 foldable luggage racks. There is Free WIFI and a long ethernet cable is made available. There is floor heating and an extra electric heater for the towels. The cute roof terrace is only accessible by you, with two chairs, facing the sunset 🌅. No smoking allowed, even on the terrace. Drugs are strictly forbidden in our house. Access on the terrace is strictly limited to the grass zone - for security reasons and to avoid any conflicts with the neighbors. There is no access to our kitchen facilities. Guest access From our frontdoor, you'll walk up through our stairs to reach the door of your room. We are two persons with two cats living in this house. The cats do not have access to your room. During your stay We will be there in case you have any question, working from home sometimes and always available on our mobile (whatsap). Other things to note - Swimming 🏊‍♀️ : You can swim right in front of our house in the big canal in front. There is a ladder that helps getting in and out. It’s very safe and many neighbors swim regularly there, all year long (even in the winter !) - Running🏃🏻‍♀️ : you can run through the parks around the house (Noorderpark, Vliegenbos) or in the countryside that starts 200 meters from our house (in the direction of the Wellington memorial monument). - Parties strictly forbidden 🚫 If you plan to go clubbing , look for another airbnb location.
