Visit our sister property, the GLASS LOFT. While Casita Crystal is an elevated mountain perch, the Loft offers a grounded, meditative retreat. Both properties share our signature glass design and world-class views. Guest access Casita Crystal is located inside a gated community shared with 7 other homes, spread across a large, green lawn. Guests are welcome to enjoy the open areas surrounding the property. Other things to note Important – Guest Identification Required Because this is a self check-in property, we kindly ask all guests to share a photo of their ID before arrival. Foreign guests: Passport photo Peruvian guests: DNI photo This is required by Peruvian regulations and used only for guest registration Access The house sits on a gentle hill and is accessed by a steep outdoor staircase. Please take this into account when packing or planning for mobility needs. Location The house is located in a rural and secluded area in the town of Huaran. A 10 min walk to the main road. Transportation Most guests either hire a private driver or rent a car—message us for trusted driver options and full service lists. Uber works from Cusco to the property, but not always in reverse. If renting a car, we suggest an SUV or a vehicle with good clearance, as some local roads include dirt paths, potholes, and speed bumps. Note that driving in Peru can feel fast-paced and may be challenging for unfamiliar drivers. Dogs on Property Three friendly but protective dogs live near the community entrance. They help provide added security and are often appreciated by guests for their presence. Public Transport Informal options (like local colectivos) are available, but they’re best suited for Spanish-speaking guests traveling light and with flexible plans.
