Sound carries greatly at Avondale. The neighbours (one of your hosts is also a neighbour), are very sensitive to noise. POOL: Laze the days away beside the pool on the luxe sun lounges under the thatched resort umbrellas. The Mineral pool not only feels smooth on your skin but can also enhance your health. The minerals can alleviate aches and pains in your body, while the minimal chlorine content means no eye or skin irritation. A mineral pool is great for those with skin irritations. There is a small selection of pool toys provided. The pool is solar heated spring and summer. KITCHEN: Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you might need for a weekend or a week or two. Basic condiments plus tea, coffee (including a good variety of pods), sugar, etc are provided for your use. The coffee machine provided is an Aldi Expressi. LAUNDRY: The laundry features a washing machine plus an additional powder room. No clothes dryer is provided. There is a washing line under the carport. A carport is provided for parking undercover. Please feel free to walk the grounds. The garage plus all locked sheds and gated areas are out of bounds. Other things to note WATER: We are on tank water and suggest you drink water boiled from the kettle. Large groups should be mindful to keep showers to a minimum to conserve hot water for all. PLUMBING: Avondale runs on a septic tank system which operates on a pump - this means our plumbing is VERY sensitive. Strictly only toilet paper is to be flushed down toilets. If anything else is found to have been flushed causing plumbing issues fees and charges to rectify will be payable by the guest. NIGHT LIGHTS & COUNTRY BUGS: Managing flying bugs attracted to light at night can be a challenge for a country property so: * Turn off unnecessary lights at night. * Keep all flyscreen doors closed. * Draw down blinds at night. * Make use of the citronella candles we have provided for your use.
