Green Valley Off Grid Cabin

Our new, cosy, self contained eco cabin offers the perfect peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. Nestled in a meadow on our organic small holding in the Dorset downs, this area of outstanding natural beauty is great for walking and a short drive from the Jurassic coast. Perfect for singles, couples or families up to 4. It offers a comfortable king size bed and mezzanine with 2 single beds suitable for children. Entirely off grid, it has solar electricity, hot shower and a cosy wood stove. The space The Off Grid Cabin is situated in its own private field with an outside seating area with fire and BBQ, perfect for a romantic getaway or family break. From the end of May - September, there are also 3 yurts in the adjacent field. For the remainder of the year the cabin has the whole site to itself. The sun deck is a great place to enjoy your coffee in the morning sun. You enter into the Kitchen and main living area with wood burning stove and couch - perfect for those wintery nights snuggled up by the fire. The Off Grid Cabin is equipped with everything you should need for your stay and we are always on-hand (or at the end of the phone) to help. The Kitchen has every thing you would need including a microwave and grill, kettle, toaster, hob, fridge and utensils. we also provide basic provisions like oil and salt and pepper. The cabin is off grid, using solar electricity and a wood stove for heating - so guests must be mindful of this when using electrical appliances and keep electric usage to a minimum where possible. Adults should be aware that the head space is low) Logburner - Please note the cabin is off grid, so in winter months, bring cosy clothes and enjoy lighting your wood stove which will be your primary heat source. Additional bags of logs, kindling, firelogs are available for an extra charge (currently logs are charged at £5 per bag, kindling £2 per tub There is no wifi in the cabin as it is off-grid, but there is strong 4G/5G for most networks. Guest access The cabin is approx. 3 minute walk from the car park. Great 4G and 5G access Outdoor seating area in front of cabin for exclusive use by cabin guests. We have a cat and dog , Lola and Tilo, that might come and say hello. Other things to note Linen/towels, basic toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar & salt and pepper will be provided. For longer term stays the cabin is cleaned thoroughly fortnightly with linen changes. Laundry can be arranged.
