Chalet Tannenhaus II in the Nock Mountains

Enjoy the nature and landscape of the Nockberge in Carinthia at 1640 m in our chalet in any season, in an active or contemplative way. The house is part of the alpine village of Sonnalm-Stubeck. Two staffed alpine huts are within 10 minutes' walking distance. The artists' town of Gmünd with its infrastructure is only 12 km away. The area is a paradise for summer and winter hikers. The Katschberg or Lake Millstatt are within 25 km. The space The detached chalet (round timber construction with fir beams and larch formwork) consists of 2 levels connected by a stylish wooden spiral staircase, a gallery with a comfortable relaxing armchair and a large panoramic window with a magnificent view of the mountain landscape. In the upper area are 2 double bedrooms with a closet, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. In the lower living and dining area, there is a modern kitchen equipped with high-quality furniture and appliances, as well as a cozy corner sofa with 3 swivel armchairs, a dining table, and a display cabinet with a TV bench and a large flat-screen TV. Also located here are the entrance area, a toilet, a bathroom with shower and a utility room with a boot dryer, a coat rack, a changing table, a double closet and a spare bed. The terrace is accessible from the living and dining area and is equipped with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The accommodation is suitable for 4 people. A sleeping arrangement for a fifth person can optionally be requested. Guest access You always rent the entire cottage for your own use with additional sauna use in the chalet Tannenhaus I. Other things to note 1. The large alpine hut Tannenhaus I on the same property can also be rented if vacant. It can accommodate another 8 to 10 people. 2. Smoking is not allowed in our alpine house. There are ashtrays outside. 3. Dogs and other pets are not allowed, as damage to the high-quality furniture, floors and doors, conflicts with neighbors and wild animals should be avoided. 4. Our house is equipped with a modern air heat pump incl. underfloor heating and hot water treatment. 5. The local tax is included in the price. 6. On the property there are two charging stations for e-cars with type 2 plugs in common use with Tannenhaus I. Billing is done via a chip system by credit card invoice. 7. Our Finnish sauna in Tannenhaus I is suitable for at least 6 people, has a window overlooking the mountains, a multifunctional shower (e.g. rain shower), Kneipp hose, drinking water basin, toilet and sauna loungers for the outdoor terrace. Sauna towels are provided in the sauna area. Please bring infusion essences of your choice. 8. In winter, the adjacent paths and roads are cleared daily by the winter service. Snow chains are required in winter when it snows. Hiking on foot, with snowshoes or touring skis, as well as sledding into the valley are possible from the cabin. 5 pairs of snowshoes are available for free use. A shoe dryer for 5 pairs of shoes is located in the utility room. Snow shovels are available for your own initiative when clearing snow. 9. The journey is via the A10 to the exit Gmünd in Carinthia and from Gmünd it goes uphill to the Sonnalm am Stubeck.
