The Owls Nest offers a rustic eco-friendly cabin experience with all the essentials to give you a cozy retreat feel. The space 🦉The Owls Nest 🪺 is a small 160 sqft stand alone cabin that sits on 2 acres nestled in the Stanislaus National Forest only 18 miles from the Big Oak Flat entrance of Yosemite. 🌲 ———————— 🏡 The cabin is equipped with: • Pillow top queen bed • Small dining table and chairs • A/C • Heater • WiFi • Outdoor bath house with shower & composting toilet • Kitchenette area to cook up an easy meal • Small fridge/freezer • Toaster oven • Microwave • Coffee maker • Electric tea kettle • Dishes and utensils • Yosemite guide books ———————— 🍽️ Sit inside at the bistro table, or enjoy eating outside in your private courtyard while listening to the birds. We also provide a selection of organic teas and fresh coffee☕️ ———————— 🛁 Bathe in nature while showering in our custom built outdoor shower surrounded by forest views! The outdoor bath-house is equipped with an on demand hot water heater as well as a composting toilet. We provide eco-friendly body wash, shampoo and conditioner for you to use.🌲 Guest access The Owl's Nest is a detached unit from the main house which has a private entrance, private outdoor bath-house and peaceful courtyard under the trees. We live in the main house with our kitty, Huntress, and our dog, Leia. Our neighbors also have dogs that may bark when you arrive. Other things to note •The 100 yard dirt road to our property has some bumps and divots, so please drive carefully. •No kids •No pets •No smoking or vaping inside, outside smoking and vaping is permitted •There is no cell service at our property.
