Large 3 bedroom house in downtown Corner Brook

A historic home, Humber Park Haven was restored in 2019, and is centrally located downtown in the lush area of townsite. Walk almost anywhere: to Margaret Bowater Park, the hospital, or to West Street for food or drink. Or stay and have a fire and relax on our large deck. Once inside our home, you will find many high end modern amenities and so much space! 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, upstairs laundry, 2 living room areas, a rec room, office, a beautiful kitchen with island and much more. Sleeps 8. The space The main floor is mostly an open area, with the kitchen, dining room, and two living rooms all within one open space. The porch, half bath, rec room and office are separate rooms, however. The 15 foot by 12 kitchen is a treat to cook and eat in - with an island and lots of room for cooking or storing your food.. Some of the well stocked kitchen cabinets have drawers so have a peel. There is ample room to store what you bring as well. There are two TVs on the main floor, as well as two living room areas and a rec room. A large 50" tv sits between the two living areas, and you can watch it while you cook in the kitchen, relax on a couch or have a relaxing meal at the 8 seat dining room table. This is an excellent house for having dinner parties, socializing and/ or easy conversation between others. Upstairs are three bedrooms, laundry, and two bathrooms. The master has a king sized bed, ensuite, walk-in closet, tv, and a desk/makeup station with great front lighting - perfect for Zoom calls or doing your makeup. Towels, pillows and extra bedding are housed in the linen closet at the top of the stairs. The backyard is amazing, with parking for two vehicles. Our large 12 foot x 40 foot deck has a dining table that can seat 8. We also have a comfy lounge area, remote control candles for the evenings, and some fresh chives and mint in pots that you can snip from for cooking, should you wish. There is a fire pit in the backyard as well and firewood can be found in the back porch closet. The front of the house has a step with two chairs as well, so sit and have a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Humber Park is a quiet area in the heart of the city. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, other than the basement, which will be locked and is an unfinished storage area. Other things to note We have a lovely pellet stove that is easy to use and you can preset in advance. It is lovely to sit by on a cold, wet evening. Additional pellets are in the front closet.
