Space, Luxury & Sustainability Our Surla houseboat (built 2024) is larger than average, offering 3 bedrooms (incl. large 3rd BR) and 2 bathrooms for 6 guests. New: Toilets upgraded Feb-2026. Layout: 3 BR, 2 baths & spacious roof terrace. Self-sufficient: Off-grid nature stay without compromising on luxury. Included: Use of the tender (no license required) to explore the Kagerplassen. A perfect stay for watersport and nature lovers. Create lasting memories on this Surla houseboat! The space The Surla Houseboat is 18 meters long and 6 meters wide. A total area of ​​84m2 excluding the roof terrace. The living room and kitchen are 25m2, and equipped with 3 large sliding doors, so you always have a phenomenal view over the Kagerplassen. There is a spacious living room with a couch, dining table, tv, pellet stove and sliding doors to the front terrace with outdoor chairs. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooker, fridge, oven, dishwasher, Quooker and Nespresso coffee machine. The two bathrooms are equipped with a shower and sink. There are 2 combustion toilets on board. There are 3 bedrooms on the houseboat. Two bedrooms with hotel beds (1.80 x 2.00m), especially designed for Surla Houseboats. The third bedroom has a folding bed (1.60 x 2.00m) with a desk underneath. Via outside stairs you can go to the spacious rooftop terrace (24m2) where there is a lounge set to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Last but not least: on the back terrace is a warm outdoor shower, great after a swim. Our Houseboats are built sustainably and are 100% self-sufficient. We have ingenious systems on board that allow you to recreate without going on shore power, and we also have filter systems that mean we don't have to have water tanks on board. We are guests on the water and have done everything possible to implement 100% off-grid and ecologically responsible solutions. Guest access Guests have the entire houseboat to themselves. We don't let our guests sail with the Surla houseboat themselves, but a dinghy is included in the rent. Sail at walking pace with the dinghy, we are guests on the water. Any fines are for your own account. No parties allowed. Minimum age is 21. Other things to note Before Arrival: Check-in: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (no early check-in due to cleaning). Park at the Europarcs Kagerplassen harbor. Check in at reception to receive your tender and the route to your houseboat. The location changes based on weather forecasts (harbor during storms, open water in good weather). Surla manages all moorings for your safety. The boat uses spud poles but may be moved by our team to a sheltered spot if conditions require. Surla Tender (Small Boat): An aluminum tender is included. Always start in Neutral. Please lock the boat when not in use, including overnight. Sail slowly! Moor carefully to avoid damage; costs for any damage will be charged immediately. The boat is full upon arrival. Please refill with Petrol 98 before checkout (Stations: Bsl Watersport, Buitenkaag or Van Schie, Warmond). Alternatively, leave cash: €40 (empty) or €20 (half full). Note: Photos may vary slightly from the actual layout/interior (built 2023-2024). Not suitable for small children or guests with limited mobility. Swimming certificates strongly recommended. Pro tip: Do your grocery shopping before boarding!
