Ranch Apartment

Adventure awaits you in this rustic getaway. We are located in the Nature Coast of Florida where there is an abundance of trail riding opportunities in State Forests. We also have 40 acres to ride on, an arena and we team rope here. Our oak canopied property is quiet and peaceful with cattle on the property. Turkey, deer and birdlife are abundant as well. The space We are a western themed ranch. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor above the barn. We team rope here/hence our ranch name of Head & Heel Ranch, and are now offering our barn apartment available for airbnb. Our pups are working dogs and love your attention but they do not like to be picked up. You are welcome to park on the asphalt area adjacent to the staircase for unloading. You will be directed to an appropriate area to park your vehicle or truck/trailer. No pets in the apartment. This is a smoke free facility. If you are smoking out of doors, please use the butt disposal buckets conveniently located around the barn. The kitchen contains a Keurig coffee machine and coffee pods, assorted sweeteners, creamers. There is a washer/dryer located in the kitchen. Please wash dishes and empty garbage before departing. Do not remake your beds prior to departing! Guest access - 12 x 12 sand based horse stalls are available for $30/night with your apartment rental, shavings not included or required. (Bring your own buckets). We have a wash rack with hot water available. Riding in pastures is allowed as long as our horses are not turned out there. Please do not chase or "work" our cattle. Close any gates you open. During your stay Wayne and I live on the property and are available via text for emergencies or questions. Other things to note 10:00pm-7:00am is considered quiet time. However if you are returning from a late event please let us know your eta as the gate alarm will announce your return or could mean the escape of wayward animals.
