Island Access Rules (Crucial Information) Armona Island is a car-free paradise. Travel is only done on foot. 1. Arrival to the Island: Access is only by sea (Ferry from Olhão or Water Taxi). 2. From Pier to House: The property is located 800 meters from the boarding pier. Please ensure you have the physical capacity to walk and carry your luggage/shopping to the house, as there are no support vehicles. Important: Guests are responsible for checking the ferry schedules for the crossing (Summer/Winter). We cannot be held responsible for any changes or cancellations of the crossing. Other things to note Our check-in time is from 4:00 PM. Someone will welcome you at the property. • Check-in before 4:00 PM and subject to availability: €25 • Check-out after 10:00 AM and subject to availability: until 2:00 PM: €25 - until 6:00 PM: €50 A refundable deposit (if there is no serious damage) of 300 euros is requested, paid before check-in through credit card. The refund will be made after check-out, final cleaning and property inspection. The city of Olhão requires the payment of tourist taxes of 2 euros per person / night / up to a maximum of 5 nights. (From April 1st to October 31st) and 1 euro/person/night (from Nov 1st to March 31st).
