This charming 45 m2 house, completely renovated and located in the heart of the Fontainebleau Forest, is ideal for nature and climbing lovers. La Parenthèse is a small green setting easily accessible from Paris: 30 min by train from Gare-de-Lyon, then 15 min walk from Bois-le-Roi station. Must-see climbing sites (20+) are accessible within 10 minutes by car. A real break for a weekend or more at the gates of the capital! The space Comfortably furnished and carefully decorated, the house has a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) as well as a sofa that converts into a real bed (140 x 190 cm). A kitchen open to the living room with fully equipped TV (dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle), a private bathroom with Italian shower and washing machine as well as separate toilets. Linens are at your disposal (duvets, sheets, bath towels, mats, etc.). A shaded outdoor terrace will allow you to fully enjoy the peaceful setting (for a coffee or a yoga session). A crash pad, yoga mat and board games are also available. Guest access Bois-le-Roi train station (15 min walk) allows you to travel to Paris in 30 min and to Fontainebleau in less than 10 min (2 trains per hour, from 6 a.m. to midnight). Several free parking spaces are available on the street, in front of the house. The Fontainebleau Forest offers more than 50 exceptional stopover sites as well as many hikes. Rocher Canon and Bas Cuvier for the closest are accessible by car (10 min) or on foot (30 min). The banks of the Seine in Bois-le-Roi are about a ten-minute walk away. You can also enjoy the Ile-de-loisir and the many activities for the whole family (Golf, Horseback riding...). The small town center of Bois-le-Roi, located on the station side, will offer you bakery, tobacco-bar-restaurant, supermarket (7/7 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.), bank, florist, post office, hairdresser... Market on the station square every Sunday morning and pizza truck 5 min walk from the house every Saturday night. The historic town center of the village of the painters of Barbizon and its many restaurants are 10 minutes away by car. Royal Château de Fontainebleau also accessible in 10 min (or via train or bus from Bois-le-Roi), Château de Courances in 20 min. Other things to note Originally from Fontainebleau and in love with the region, I am also passionate about film photography and design. It was therefore important to me to receive guests in a place decorated with love, objects loaded with stories, found here and there.
