There are two spacious king bedrooms and a separate bunk room, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. The cosy lounge centres around a wood-burning stove for relaxed evenings in, while the modern shower room provides everything you need after a day on the fells. The well-equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy, whether you’re cooking a full family meal or just warming up after a long walk. You’ll also love the utility space for coats, muddy boots and bike storage, keeping the main living areas warm, tidy and welcoming — perfect for walkers, cyclists and dog owners. Guest access The full property Other things to note The cottage sleeps 6 and has one modern shower room (shower, toilet and sink). There’s a fully enclosed garden, ideal for dogs and enjoying a coffee outside. In winter we provide coal, logs and kindling for the wood-burning stove, and in summer we provide a disposable BBQ for guests to use in the garden. The cottage is set over multiple levels and has a traditional layout, including steps between rooms, low doorways and several sets of stairs (from the utility to the living room, living room to kitchen, stairs to the bedrooms, and a short additional staircase to the top bedroom). You’ll also find a brilliant utility area with space for boots, coats and bike storage, plus a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board — perfect for longer stays, families and outdoor adventures. The cottage is ideally placed for walking and cycling in the Yorkshire Dales, and a great local pub is just a short stroll away. To help you settle in, we provide a few welcome essentials including milk, eggs, butter, bottled water, soft drinks, homemade bread from the pub bakery, plus a selection of pantry basics for cooking.
