The space Beautifully designed for comfort and convenience, The Old Workshop provides an ideal setting for your countryside getaway. The ground floor is perfect for single-level living, with level access from the gravelled parking yard. The front door opens from the shared parking yard into a bright, open-plan living space featuring a comfy corner sofa, a flat-screen smart TV, and a dining area for four. The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to feel at home. Kitchen Amenities include: • Induction hob and oven • Microwave and dishwasher • Larder fridge and freezer • Filter coffee machine, toaster, and kettle • A complimentary breakfast starter pack (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread/crumpets, butter, marmalade, and jam) Adjacent to the living area, the ground-floor bedroom offers a comfortable double bed with Egyptian cotton linen, ample storage, and level access to a private ensuite WC/shower room. From the kitchen, a back door opens to steps leading up to a raised, private patio with a potted herb garden and a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Internal stairs lead to a pretty upstairs bedroom with beautiful views over the patio and the orchard beyond. This room features flexible sleeping arrangements (two singles or a zip-and-link super-king bed) made up with Egyptian cotton. There is ample storage and a laptop-friendly workspace. The adjoining ensuite WC/shower room also contains a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. Access is via a shared driveway leading to two dedicated private parking spaces at the rear of the property. An additional space may be available; please discuss this with us in advance. We enjoy welcoming our guests upon arrival, but a lockbox is also available for convenient self-check-in. Other things to note To ensure a comfortable and safe stay for everyone, please note the following: • Your hosts live next door. Our friendly dog may bark to announce your arrival in the shared yard. • The stairs to the upstairs bedroom may not be suitable for the very young, the elderly, or those with mobility challenges. • The parking yard is shared with our neighbours. We kindly ask that you do not enter any other buildings around the yard. • An untethered 7KW Zappi EV car charging point is available. You will need to bring your own Type 2 charging cable, and the cost of electricity for charging is not included in the rental fee and is paid separately. • Outdoor storage is available for up to four bicycles. Please bring your own locks. Indoor bicycle storage may be possible – please discuss this with us.
