For those who want to explore the mountains, there are great hiking trails right outside the door, here you can either take a bike or walk. There were also 2 large water parks 10 minutes away by car. They are suitable for children of all ages. Local bus is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. It runs 4 times a day and the last admission is at 19.00 from Girne. The trip costs a few euros round trip. The nearest town is Girne, approx. 20 minutes by car. There you will find many great restaurants, shops and a fishing harbour. If you like boat trips where you want sightseeing along the coast with a refreshing dip, this trip is definitely something to recommend. The boat trip takes approx. 5 hours and costs 30 Euros per person. The price includes a home-cooked lunch, which includes a buffet with 5-6 different dishes and a pleasant crew. Animals: Cats and dogs in the area are kind and the Cypriots are keen on vaccinating the animals. Northern Cyprus is known for its stable climate. They have 320 sunny days a year with a bathing temperature that stays up to 25 degrees in the winter months. During the winter period, there are pleasant summer temperatures of 15-25 degrees, perfect for those who enjoy summer activities. There is access to a tennis court close by, and for those who want something extra, there is access to a massage or manicure, upon booking and at a small extra cost Other things to note Important to remember: This is Northern Cyprus, where not everything follows Norwegian standards. Therefore, it is important not to throw toilet paper or any other paper into the toilets, as this can cause the pipes to become blocked. Tap water is not safe to drink, so drinking water must be purchased. Taxis and rental cars accept payment in either euros or pounds. There are designated waste sheds for disposing of garbage. Please do not litter in nature. Please be kind to the free-roaming animals. They are not dangerous and are usually very friendly. If you want to feed them without adopting or taking them in, make sure to do so away from homes or private properties, as they may start visiting your property regularly if fed nearby.
