Casa 2617 is in Belconnen on the north side of Canberra. It is close to the CBD, Canberra's universities and all the National capital attractions including Floriade. Public transport runs by the end of the street. Lake Ginninderra is close by for those keen on walking and cycling. It is a 5 minute walk to the supermarket at Kaleen Plaza and a variety of local shops. Department stores are nearby in Belconnen, City Centre and Gungahlin town centres which also have many popular restaurants. The space Accommodation is within my home and it consists of two bedrooms one with a queen sized bed and the second with two single beds. Guests have their own sitting room with refrigerator, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. A small breakfast hamper is supplied on arrival and you may self cater for the remainder of your stay. The accommodation is ideal for families or for business people wanting a quiet retreat from during their stay in Canberra. High speed internet is provided. The bathroom and toilet are separate and are shared with other guests. The main bedroom has a ceiling fan. Central heating operates throughout the house in the morning and evening during the winter months. Minimum two night stays on long weekends, Canberra show times and major festivals. Well behaved canines are welcome. They may stay inside keeping to the floor. Please remember to bring your own beds for your dog. The property has a fully enclosed spacious back yard where they can enjoy sun or shade. You will have peace of mind that your dog is safe if you have to leave them outside for a few hours. Your dog is not to be left inside if you are away from the accommodation. Whether you are staying for a short or long visit there is a single one-off pet visit fee of $50 per stay irrespective of the length of the stay, payable on arrival. Sorry, no cats as I don’t react well to them. Guest access The guest entrance is through the front door with guests private rooms off the hallway. During your stay The host lives on site and is always available by phone or direct contact. Other things to note Guests have access to an outdoor covered patio area and the enclosed back yard. Use of the BBQ by request to the owner. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
