Colman's Cottage
Colman's Cottage
Description
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in beautiful countryside surroundings whilst being near Rutland Water and pretty market towns. The space This is a newly renovated cottage situated in a beautiful Leicestershire village on the borders of Rutland and Northampton. There is a superb pub in the village and many walks. It is only a mile to Eyebrook Reservoir and close to Rutland Water and Rockingham Castle as well as the pretty towns of Uppingham, Oakham and Market Harborough. There is one double room and one single room. Guest access The whole cottage. There is a front door and a side door. Please note that the single room has separate access to the bathroom but access to the living room is through the double bedroom ( unless you go round the outside!) We would be grateful if you would park on the road where there is usually plenty of space, and not on the driveway in case we need access. THE DOOR TO THE KITCHEN CAN BE A LITTLE STIFF AT TIMES AS IT S AN OLD BUILDING. JUST GIVE IT A FIRM SHOVE ON THE BOTTOM HALF! Other things to note We would be grateful if you would park on the opposite side the road where there is free parking. ( It s safer on this side as there is a slight bend in the road ) . If there are no spaces, there is always plenty of room just around the corner on Brook Lane which is less than a minute’s walk from the cottage The fireplace in the living room is unfortunately not in working order. Please also be aware that none of the blinds have blackout linings.
