Lake Stechlin- idyllic Cottage in the woods

Relax in this special and quiet place to stay. The cottage is located about 1 hour north of Berlin in a beautiful lake area in the woods between Stechlin and Roofensee. Both lakes are about 3 km away and can be easily reached by car or bike. The Cottage belongs to an idyllic courtyard - an ex. Country estate with lots of old trees and 5 other cottages and plenty of room. In total, about 30 people can stay with us. The space The cottage was originally a stable and became wood with natural materials. Stone and clay lovingly developed and very well insulated, so that a fireplace is sufficient to heat it. Downstairs there is a living room with kitchenette and a small bathroom on about 36 square meters. Upstairs there is a large sleeping area with sloping walls on the same area. A wooden staircase leads upstairs without a door. Guest access The cottage is a semi-detached house with its own entrance, private Garden, terrace and parking in front of the door. Other things to note Minimum rental over New Year's Eve and Easter - 5 nights May 1 and Pentecost - 4 nights and on Ascension and all long years, 3 nights In July and August - 7 nights The stairs don't have a railing so the cottage isn't suitable for older, frail, and severely overweight people. There's an eye on the kids. In summer there are many nice cafes in the area, a bakery comes to the farm several times a week. The double bed is nice and large ( 2mx 2.20 ) , on the floor there is another double mattress for children and in the living room there is a sofa bed in the living room. We live in the middle of the forest - so you can also get deer or the fox into the garden or to the window. The cottage is a former stable and has a cap ceiling.. It has been lovingly renovated with natural materials - stone, wood and clay. It is very well insulated and needs little warmth . Heating is done with a fireplace, which is completely sufficient. (An oil radiator for also there ) Electricity is not included in the rent, and will be charged extra upon departure. On the farm there are rabbits and a trampoline , as well as lots of children's toys for outside. Bobbycars, tractors, tricycles etc.
