Perfect for a couple's getaway! Private, quiet and only for two. Our Four (4) private, stylish and modern designed cottages, each sleeping two people (only), blend perfectly into nature. Wake up to the gentle melodies of birdsong, enjoy the outdoors and absorb the fresh mountain air. Relax in your very own private wood fired hot tub, while drinking in the spectacular view over the Outeniqua Mountains. denBosch Cottages - embrace nature's symphony on the edge of the Knysna forest. The space Each cottage is placed a good distance away from each other to ensure privacy and each have their own dedicated parking bay. Each of the cottages have a kitchen equipped with a 2 plate gas hob, convection microwave and sizeable fridge, a few complimentary basics such as salt & pepper, coffee, sugar, tea, rusks and dish washing liquid are provided. The open plan lounge area has a wood burning fireplace to keep you cosy in winter, a ceiling fan for the warmer months, a dining area for two that can also be used as a comfortable work space for remote working (free wifi). The bedroom area has a King size bed dressed in 100% white cotton linen and comfortable pillows to ensure a good nights rest and extra throws for those chilly nights to snuggle up on the couch with. The bathroom comes with a very large walk in shower, fresh bath towels and complimentary toiletries, and bath gowns to laze around in. The loo is separate and in it's own room. You have your own private patio with sun loungers and a Weber braai (braai tongs provided) with an outdoor table and chairs looking out onto the spectacular view. The wood fired hot tub (Kolkol) is outdoors and placed at the end of your patio with wooden screens and tall shrubbery to ensure privacy from your neighbour. All our cottages have the same interior open plan layout with varying colourways. There are gentle sloped stairs leading to your cottage from your designated parking bay. Guest access Your cottage is private to you with no thoroughfare. Other things to note Our cottages sleep no more than 2 adults per cottage and are of an open plan layout. We cannot accommodate children (we are not child friendly) nor additional adult guests on the sofa. denBosch Cottages are off-grid ready - you will not feel the effect of unpredictable loadshedding / electricity blackouts. No need to bring braai tongs, matches or a lighter as your cottage has these. We do not supply a box braai grid (the type used for braai'g fish or braaibroodjies) If you plan on visiting the beach during the summer months please bring your own beach towels, beach umbrella and cooler box. These are not supplied. Your hosts, Taryn and Andre, live in the main house on the property should you need assistance. Real free range farm eggs can be purchased at reception as well as additional wood & fire starters (subject to availability). Celebrating a special occasion? Your hosts can organise a Celebratory Package which includes a bottle of bubbles, a sweet treat, elegant romantic room decor and the pre-heating of your hot tub (note this is at an additional cost to your stay - please enquire)
