Guest Suite in Charming Townhouse

A unique two-floor townhouse to make yourself at home and get cozy in during a scenic getaway to Brooklyn! Original charms invite you into our 19th century rowhouse in the old port neighborhood of Red Hook, which now draws visitors from afar and within NYC to its quality dining, drinking, and recreation along the New York Harbor. We invite you to read something from the bookshelves; attend correspondence in the library nook; listen to the record player; relax in the clawfoot tub! The space Parlor Level for lounging and dining with antique tin ceiling details; a fireplace, now purely decorative, was originally designed for venting heat from a coal oven in the basement. A small table faces the front windows; love seat sofa; modern record player built into a 1910 singer sewing table; Bluetooth stereo speakers atop the cabinet holding a large record collection and cupboard with dining dishes, utensils and napkins in the drawers, and books and games. The kitchen is fully electric and supplied with Nespresso machine, coffee and teas, spices and cooking staples, and cocktail mixing ingredients. 2nd floor: The library nook at the top of the stairs gets great daylight from skylight and large window. Queen Bedroom in the front has a decorative fireplace and large dresser. The adjoining “dressing room” has additional bureau and wardrobe storage and can be converted with a 2nd single trundle bed upon request. We also have a pack-n-play crib available for infants. The clawfoot tub bathroom with salvaged antique stained-glass sliding doors is “en suite” with the dressing room. Guest access Guests have access to the house's front door at all hours by a personalized key-code. Guests will have exclusive use of the parlor level, kitchen and 2nd floor bedrooms and bath during their stay. Other things to note This property is owner-occupied and licensed by the NYC-OSE in accordance with New York's Local Law 18. By law, only 2 adult paying guests are permitted during your stay.
