Beach Club Apartments + gorgeous rooftop – Thal

Unique upper apartment of this small complex only 120 metres from the beautiful Induruwa beach. Located just off the main road in a village, it is quiet and peaceful. The train station is 300 metres away and the popular towns of Bentota and Aluthgama are a short tuk tuk ride. So a perfect base to discover the area. With only 2 other apartments, you are guaranteed plenty of privacy. A rooftop terrace/bar and patio are shared. Our beach restaurant, the Beach Club is a 5-minute stroll. The space This bright and sunny top-floor apartment with large private balcony is newly renovated and consists of a separate kitchenette and living area with a double sofa bed, and a bedroom area. The apartment is open plan but in two sections with an en-suite bathroom in the middle, so the bedroom area is private from the living & kitchen. The bedroom area has a double bed, AC, dressing table or desk to catch up on emails, and a cupboard. The sofa bed in the living comfortably sleeps 2 children or 1 adult. The kitchenette has a small fridge, crockery and cutlery, toaster and a kettle with coffee/tea. An electric hob and microwave can be arranged. Towels and toiletries are provided in the bathroom. Enjoy spending time on your large private balcony which has great views to the ocean on one side and the village on the other. Perfect to read that holiday book in the ocean breeze, share a glass of wine with your loved one or marvel at tropical birds, peacocks and often visiting monkeys. It's even big enough to sunbathe on in private! Guest access The apartment building is on the same site as the host's home and share the same entrance gate, but the buildings are separate and there are clear private areas for everybody. The shared areas are the entrance, with a front garden patio, which is also used as a yoga shala, and a rooftop terrace + private bar. You can have your breakfast on the roof terrace with gorgeous views. It's also perfect for those sundowners. Other things to note While not beachfront, the apartments are just a 150-metre walk from the stunning 2-kilometre sandy beach and 350 metres from our Beach Club restaurant where you can enjoy free sunbeds and a 10% discount on the full menu (excluding alcoholic drinks). Food from the Beach Club can be enjoyed in the apartments too, delivered at no cost. Daily cleaning of the apartment is included, however you can indicate your wishes daily. Laundry can be done for a small fee. The host teaches yoga and classes are available on site. Ayurvedic treatments and massages can be arranged nearby. We have a dedicated tuk tuk driver who will safely drive you around locally but is also available for day trips further away. Island-wide tours can also be organised. The apartments are very accessible by road and public transport but we can arrange airport transfers for you to arrive and depart comfortably.
