The space The 84 sqm house has 50 cm thick clay walls, which keep it pleasantly cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter. The house has been extensively renovated in 2022. It is important to us to preserve old substance and combine it with modern elements. This runs through all of our accommodations. We mix antique furniture with art and modern textiles. This created a cozy open living/dining room with integrated kitchen. It is very cozy at the large oak table with friends, or with a book in front of the wood-burning stove. The bathroom is very modernly designed with natural materials. The bedroom is equipped with a 1.80 m wide box-spring bed. From there you can reach one of the terraces and welcome the new day. There is also a small desk, working Internet and a library (so far unfortunately almost only German books) Depending on the sun's position, you can choose one of the two terraces. The house is in the middle of nature - heavenly. Guest access Each house has its own outdoor area with seating furniture, umbrella, pergola, herb bed and parking space. On the 2.5 hectare property there are hammocks between the trees that everyone can use. There are also small seating areas under the fruit trees. All fruits, mushrooms, herbs are welcome to be harvested. Since it is very dry in the summer months, no fire or barbecue may be made. Other things to note The 2.5 hectare, paradisiacally enclosed property is located in Troviscais/Sao Luis. The place is within walking distance and the starting point for hikes/Rota Vicentina.
