Elk Lake Cottage + Additional Apartment | Lake Access & Kayaks | Near Elk Rapids Two separate spaces on a wooded corner lot across from 150 feet of shared Elk Lake frontage. Sleeps 10 between the main cottage and apartment — perfect for families or groups wanting their own space. The space Main Cottage Open-concept kitchen and living room with water views and Roku TV. Bedroom with a queen bed and full bath down the hall. The bunk room has two bunk beds, a double futon, game table, and a second TV. Well stocked with board games, puzzles, and books. There is also a pack and play, and high chair for our smaller guests. Outside guests have full access to an oversized Solo Bonfire, yard games and weber kettle grill. Garage Apartment (Available March–November). Private upstairs space with full kitchen, living area, bedroom updated in 2026, full bath, and a deck with sunrise views over the lake. On the Water Lake access is directly across the street with a grassy lawn, fire pit, and mooring buoy for your boat. Kayak and inflatables are available for guest use. A nature trail winds behind the property with elevated views of the water. Other things to note The Area Elk Rapids is a 5-minute drive with shops, restaurants, and the marina. Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Bellaire are all about 30 minutes away. Wilcox-Palmer-Shah Beach (great for rock hunting is on the right across 31). Kewadin, with its small grocery store, pickleball courts, and Oasis Red Bull Tavern is just a 5 minute walk. Good to Know November through March, only the main cottage is available (2 bed/2 bath). Cairn Hwy is a well-traveled road — supervise kids crossing to the lakefront. The neighboring docks are not included in the rental. Guests are responsible for properly securing boats to the mooring buoy.
