Welcome to Casa Mera Mera. A private, 2150 sq ft home in Oaxaca Centro, with strong WiFi and air conditioning in the second-floor bedrooms! Perfect for 3 - 8! The space Casa Mera Mera is decorated with local and artisanal furniture and art. As avid travelers, we focused on creating a space that was both beautiful and relaxing. The beds are comfortable, the WiFi is strong (100+ Mbps), and the kitchen is outfitted with necessary tools. NEW IN MARCH 2026! We added AC to the two bedrooms on the second floor of the main house! The AC keeps the rooms very cool and quiet. The studio bedroom is located on the patio level behind the main house. It stays cool with a floor and ceiling fan and is far from the street. Guest access You will have access to every room in the house except for one locked space. Other things to note This part of the Centro is usually peaceful, but, like every part of Oaxaca de Juarez, you might experience bands and parades that pass by the house. And since Casa Mera Mera is on a busy street, traffic can sometimes be heard in the morning, during times of celebration, or if there is a traffic redirect (nights are usually quiet). Both bedrooms in the main house that face the street have air conditioning, so it is easy to sleep with the windows closed, making the rooms quieter.
