The space The birds nest is located in historic Maeystown nestled on top of a small hill guests have access to the level lot plenty of room for pets to play! Popular amenities include 4 person year around hot tub and vintage stereo is equipped with Bluetooth for guests to enjoy their own music or the radio. There is a fire TV in the main living area guests are free to access their own subscriptions or use the ones provided. There is creek access, a playground, antique shops, a local restaurant, massage therapy, ice cream shoppe and coffee shop located in Maeystown just down the block fell free to ask me about the hours of operation. The birds nest is a short 15 min drive from various restaurants, bars, wineries, shops, historic sites and grocery stores. We are approximately 50 min from downtown St Louis where you can find the zoo, art museum, botanical gardens, science center, St Louis Arch, Anheuser-busch brewery and much more!The house is equipped with all basic necessities such as towels, bed linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, pots/pans, kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, cups, laundry detergent ect. Kitchen has all basic kitchen items supplied ice cube trays with stock pile of ice, k cup coffee maker with k cups and individual creamers supplied dish soap and sponges also supplied. No dishwasher. Bathroom has toilet paper, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, makeup wipes, shampoo conditioner and body wash available. Additional linens, blankets, throw covers pillows available. Basic cleaning supplies, vacuum, spray mop and broom available Backyard has fire pit, lawn chairs, hot tub, gravel driveway. Light road noise occasionally depending on village activities. Village festivities Spring art show march 23-24 Springfest may 5 Maeystown paint out June 8 Car show Maeystown homecoming 3rd weekend in June Apple butter fest September 27&28 Oktoberfest October 6 Ladies day November 23 German Christmas December 1 Springfest and Octoberfest the main road will be blocked to traffic I will keep guests posted of alternative routes to house during those weekends Guest access the whole house is open to guests. the laundry is located in the basement. The driveway is NOT large enough to maneuver trailers around if you are traveling with a trailer we advise finding accomodations that will fit trailers. Other things to note We do allow pets and provide caution to anyone with pet allergies! Although we do a thorough cleaning between guests pet dander is nearly impossible to eliminate if you or someone you are traveling with suffers from allergies we waive caution. The laundry is located in the basement if guests need to use the washer or dryer during their stay we waive caution that the steps are a little steep and the ceiling is a little low. trailers will NOT fit in the provided parking area.
