Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 Acre Estate and a magical oasis for travelers, wanderers, and the displaced who are seeking an economic alternative to regular campgrounds and parks. There are 5 acres of available housing options and campgrounds with a fantasy theme! The 6 acres in the back are grazing fields for horses. Perfect for star gazers / practicing camping! Groceries a few miles out. Old Campers: There have been some changes and more to come! Your site's mascot is Beren, the Lost Gnome. He was looking for the garden, but ended up in the cactus patch. He's making do though! The gnome marks the approximate center of your camp site. The entrance: Please use paved entrance and turn left through the fence gap. Off-road / truck type vehicles may use the unpaved entrance as well. Do not block the gap as your site is VERY close! Please try to park towed or long vehicles facing towards or away from the fence, not parallel. This site is scheduled for an upgrade to commercial grade power outlets. Until then, you may bring solar or a generator. Generators must be placed on top of paver stones. They are not allowed on the open ground or grass. Water source on this side is still via hose. Spare hookup may be available on the other side of the fence as well. If you could face your vehicle towards or away from the fence (but still near it) without blocking the entryway that would be better than parallel. Thank you! There is a bathroom / laundry combo that is shared with house residents which you may use. If you bring your own shower or outhouse tent / solution, that's fine. Firepit / grill availability may vary. One of the faucets on site 7 has a hose leading to site 4 and the well junction has a long hose as well. Please ask if you need help turning it on your water. High amperage adapters are not allowed unless you have a voltage limiter because they trip the breaker. The new shower stall is working, but complete privacy is not there yet so please use swimwear attire at a minimum. The bathroom / laundry area on the side of the house is shared with the house guests, but available for use. The RV Dumpsite and new outhouse restroom are in the far field. Please see new map and photos! Guest access The outdoor shower has a 6 gallon tank of heated water. Minimum swimwear type attire is required with shoes / flipflops, crocs, etc. The bathroom / laundry area on the side of the house is shared with the house guests, but available for use. There is also an outhouse in the SE field. Picnic tables / grills are available by request. Guests must be ready to assist in setup. A public garden has been started in the backyard! Some limited free firewood may also be available in the collection are in the backyard. Other things to note Generators are allowed, but please have them off by 10 PM if possible. All trash must be bagged in 13 gallon bags or above. If you would like a bin or bags / lining please just ask. All pets must be on a leash or penned for safety. Some grass burs may be present, but I am working on phasing them out with new grass. Interaction with horses is at your own risk. They're usually friendly, but it is not recommended you walk into their area without an introduction at least. There's no HOA here, but please keep the appearance of your area tidy. No excessive junk piles or scrap heaps please. If you have a pile of stuff in a flat-bed, that's fine. Please be aware, this is Texas and the wildlife here is no joke. There is a small but real danger of snakes, scorpions, even coyotes. However there are also road-runners, deer, and more harmless nature in greater abundance. The following rules are as per the Fire Marshall / Emergency Management Coordinator / Deputy EMC's orders * Campers may only plug into commercial grade outlets. Currently the only sites that qualify are 11, 12, and 14 (30 amp) * If you bring a solar array, that is allowed! * Generators and fire pits cannot operate on the ground. They must be on paver stones. * All campers must provide their own ABC rated fire extinguishers * No branch debris allowed on site that is not actively being used for firewood * I must reiterate, do NOT cut down branches from trees! Only use fallen wood. * No debris within 10 feet of the fencelines * All propane tanks, empty or full, must be secured or inside * Do not leave gas cans or aerosol cans lying around anywhere * Holiday lights that are not solar powered can only be up for a maximum of 90 days, even if unplugged. * No items may be placed BESIDE or BEHIND the dumpster. The public dump is open Saturdays. Please make arrangements to use it if you are overburdened by your debris. Use the loose trash bins as a temporary solution! * All RV sewer or gray water tanks MUST be CLOSED and CAPPED, not left open! * The dump station MUST be capped when you are finished using it
