Birch Hill Cabin is set on the side of a hill, surrounded by almost 8 acres of woods. The cabin is 288 square feet, and the bathroom is detached and located approximately 20 feet from the cabin. A hot tub is conveniently located off the deck for ultimate relaxation! This cabin is tucked away, surrounded by nature! But also conveniently located to so many wonderful spots in the Midcoast! Come enjoy the peace and quiet, where you can rest and recharge! The space The cabin is located approximately 15 minutes from Camden and Belfast, and 30 minutes to Rockland. All are beautiful drives to reach these lovely Midcoast towns! Only a couple minutes down the road from the cabin is a sweet little pond that is perfect for swimming and kayaking. We’ve done our best to make the cabin a comfortable and easy place to relax! The queen bed has a Coop mattress topper, and cozy sheets and blankets. The kitchen has all the essentials to cook meals, but please note, there is no oven- there is a two burner induction stove for cooking meals, so please plan accordingly :) There is a mini fridge, no freezer. We can provide a cooler if you want to keep ice! There is also a grill on the deck. We have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as two adirondack chairs to relax in front of the Breeo fire pit to watch the beautiful sunsets. The bathroom is detached and is approximately 20 feet away from the cabin, and is easy to walk to in all weather. We provide umbrellas, and there is plenty of outdoor lighting. Other things to note Dogs are welcome here! 2 max please! We do charge a $50 pet fee for the duration of your stay. Please reach out if you’re staying for one night for a discounted rate for pets! We don’t have wifi, but have good cell reception! IMPORTANT: Since the cabin is situated in the woods, there will be bugs! Ants, mosquitoes, black flies, ticks, moths, spiders, etc. We do our best to manage them, but it’s impossible to get rid of them all. We provide a natural bug repellent incense and citronella candle for outside, as well as a bug zapper wand. Also, when cleaning we meticulously scan for bugs in the cabin. Please bring your preferred bug repellent if you are visiting during any season other than winter!
