Set within pretty parkland and dense woodland, this peaceful lodge is a wonderful spot for a relaxing Pembrokeshire holiday. It’s located in the scenic village of Cenarth, renowned for the Teifi River's captivating waterfalls and the famed salmon leap. The property sleeps four so is fantastic for a couple or a family trip with children, and two dogs are welcome to join you. Thanks to the on-site activities including a pool, a kids’ activity centre and crazy golf, there’ll never be a dull moment. The space The property has a pleasant and expansive feel, thanks to numerous windows and lovely modern wooden panelling throughout. You’ll enter the open-plan living area through the patio doors, a welcoming room with a TV and plenty of spots to lounge after an action-packed day. The compact kitchen has everything you need for whipping up breakfasts and dinners to keep everyone energised and happy throughout your trip. Open up the French doors to let in the fresh air on warm days and enjoy the peace and quiet of the lovely decked area outside. The wrap-around benched seating provides a perfect spot for a morning coffee or nightcap in your tranquil surroundings. For a leisurely day, stroll along the nearby riverbank, then go for a meal or drink at a local pub or tearoom (within 0.5 miles). You’ll find a broader range of activities at the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn (4 miles away), where there are plenty of shops as well as the ruins of a 13th-century riverside castle. Cardigan (7.5 miles) also offers an eclectic mix of vintage and antique shops. When you’re craving some nature immersion, try the Welsh Wildlife Centre (8 miles) or head to the beach at Poppit Sands (11.5 miles).
