A renovated 100-year-old farmhouse, limited to one group per day. Nestled in tranquil satoyama, enjoy birdsong, fresh air, and a peaceful escape from daily life — ideal for couples, families, workations, or long stays. Conveniently located near Gunma's premier hot spring resorts: Kusatsu Onsen, Shima Onsen, and Ikaho Onsen are all about 30 minutes away by car. Many guests stay multiple nights using it as a base for hot spring hopping, fully immersing themselves in satoyama time. The space BED ROOM For quiet nights, sleep in the softly lit bedrooms. 4 beds are available in the 2 bedrooms, and after 5 guests, futon bedding will be provided in the “TATAMI ROOM”. LIVING ROOM The open-plan living room facing a large window is furnished in a Scandinavian modern theme. The large window overlooks a lush green garden and a mountain range with birds singing, allowing you to enjoy a moment of respite. TATAMI ROOM Tatami room with the scent of green still lingers in the air. You can use it as a bedroom with a futon laid out on the floor. The two Japanese-style rooms can be connected by opening the shoji screens, creating a sense of openness. DINING KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils. Guests are free to use the kitchen. Please enjoy serving dishes made with local ingredients on Japanese tableware. In the kitchen, spring water from Hakoshima Spring is available. You can drink this natural spring water as it is. CAFE The café space "Food for Life" is located in a separate building. We use this space for events, workshops, and food service. ※There is a great discount for consecutive nights. Other things to note Please be considerate of the surrounding area, especially at night, as there are private residences in the area. Please be careful when using the building, as there are decorations and parts of the building that are not sturdy enough. Please be careful with fire sources. Please refrain from lighting bonfires. Please bring studless tires or chains during the winter season (late November to early April). We do not allow people who are noisy, drunken, or who drink a lot of alcohol.
