Description
Bluebells Annexe is a newly built, distinctive, self-contained space with adjacent off-road parking. The annexe is situated at the top of The Leys, a narrow, no-through lane set between high hedgerows, on the edge of the picturesque West Cambridgeshire village of Little Gransden. Come and enjoy this beautiful bespoke building in a truly tranquil setting. The space Inside the annexe, the main living space includes a kitchen/dining/living room with a vaulted ceiling and expansive bifold doors which look out onto paddocks, often occupied by the owners’ pet goats. The living space is furnished with a double sofa bed and beautiful, bespoke, handmade wooden furniture, sourced sustainably from a private woodland near Grafham Water. A stunning floor-to-ceiling feature wall has been painted within the living space by a talented local artist and provides a backdrop of the local wood in springtime. The fully equipped kitchen contains a washing machine, electric oven, hob, fridge-freezer and a comprehensive selection of utensils. The bedroom offers a king-sized bed and views along the footpath. A travel cot with mattress is available for those with young children. The spacious bathroom has a shower and w.c. and the property is air conditioned which enables guests to choose their ideal temperature, whatever time of the year. Outside, there is a private garden with seating area that connects to the inside space via the bi-fold doors. Access to an EV charger is an option for guests on the property. A barbecue is available on request. Guests can sit outside and enjoy the tranquil, rural surroundings. In addition to the goats, the owners care for horses and ponies in the surrounding fields and regular visits of badgers, deer, bats and owls are to be expected from dusk onwards. Guest access Guests have entire use of this self-contained accommodation as well as their own garden space. Free parking adjacent to the accommodation is also available. Other things to note Pets are welcome with a small additional charge. We ask that owners please keep their companions on a lead around the other animals and try to dissuade them from sleeping on the sofa or the bed.
