Guest access Guests will have full access to the French Chalet interior, excluding the gas fireplace, as well as the adjoining private patio. Guests will have access to a shared seating area next to a large fountain and will have access to outside seating in the yard area. (Please note that the large fire pit on the patio is not to be used by guests, due to issues of liability.) One car only is permitted per reservation. If you require an additional car, please notify us before booking your stay. There is a pool on the property, but no guest access is allowed to the pool, spa, or pool-side deck. We appreciate your understanding. Other things to note This is a quiet and peaceful property and we love to share it with others. Please keep in mind that we live here and so quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. The French Chalet is NOT suitable for children, due to the steps to the sleeping area and hard stone floor. We have a dog who does not like other dogs. Therefore, we have a no pet policy. (In addition, coyotes and bobcats sometimes enter the property and we don’t want anyone’s beloved pet being put in peril.) We have chickens on the property, including a rooster. Because the French Chalet is very well-insulated, you will not likely hear him when he crows if you are inside.
