La Maison Des Vignes (The House of Vines) sits in the heart of the lovely village of Tourouzelle, in the sunny Occitanie area of the South of France midway between the beaches of the Mediterranean and the medieval city of Carcassonne. Situated in the Minervois and bordering the Corbiere wine regions, this former vigneron estate dates back to the 1600s and is built in the traditional stone typical of the region. The space Gite Lavande sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms and has 3 well-equipped bathrooms, a private terrace and weber gas barbeque. The terrace is set up for outdoor dining & has a Weber gas BBQ. The spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area has wooden floors & high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. There is a large sofa, seating area, an indoor dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed and wardrobe, as well as large French windows that provide access directly onto the private terrace. Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed (the room can be made up with 2 single beds), chest of drawers and wardrobe. Both of these bedrooms have an ensuite shower room with walk in shower, sink and toilet. The mezzanine level has a large galleried landing, which overlooks the living area with sofa.
