Our newly renovated cottages are nestled in the woods near the Kouchibouguac National Park. Nestled among the woods at the edge of the park, Xpérience Kouchibouguac, boasts trails that connect directly from your accommodation to the famous hiking and cross country skiing trails of the National Park. This cabin has two private bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed (double over a double) as well as the opportunity to sleep more in the living room on a futon double bed and make it possible for a group of up to eight people to come together for a stay! Fully equipped with air conditioning, full kitchen (excluding oven), full bathroom, BBQ, veranda and private campfire with seating. Access to washer and dryer on-site Guest access Kouch Chalets sits on 9 acres of land. All guests have access to the property to enjoy peaceful outdoor space with their own family or group. We encourage everyone to respect the privacy of others and current health guidelines. Please note that our on-site restaurant is currently closed. Guests have full access to their private unit, with outdoor amenities that vary by season and accommodation type. 🛶 Cottage Guests (Spring to Fall): Each cottage includes a private BBQ, dedicated fire pit with Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and screened-in outdoor space — all exclusively for your use. 🏨 Motel Guests (Spring to Fall): Motel guests have access to two shared outdoor spaces: • The central courtyard in front of Motel 2 • The area beside Motel 7, next to the firewood station These shared spaces include BBQs, fire pits, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables — available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be mindful of other guests when using shared spaces. 🎠 Shared Activities (Spring to Fall): All guests can enjoy our playground, zipline, volleyball court, ninja course, and a variety of lawn games and kids’ activities. Games are stored in two dark grey bins in the courtyard near Motel 2. 🥾 Trail Access – Year-Round: Right behind our main building, guests can access trails that connect directly into Kouchibouguac National Park. • In summer, explore over 80 km of mixed-use trails — perfect for walking or biking. • In winter, when snow is on the ground, the park grooms 18 km of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter walking. Please note that Kouchibouguac National Park rules and passes may apply when venturing into park territory. 🔥 Winter Season Notes: In winter, only the fire pits remain accessible. BBQs, chairs, and games are removed for the season. Complimentary firewood is still provided — we simply ask that it be used responsibly so all guests can enjoy it. Other things to note Covid 19 regulations in place. · Trails access to the Kouchibouguac National Park directly from our site. Great for Hiking and cycling. · Kelly’s Beach, one of Canada’s largest beaches, 14 minutes drive from the cottages: an 8 km long stretch of gorgeous sand, and waves. A two hours walk side to side. · Callander’s Beach, warmest water north of Virginia, USA, 11 minutes drive from the cottages and it’s Pet friendly! · Golf course in St-Ignace, 8 minutes drive from the cottages. · Horseback riding, 30 minutes drive from the cottages. · Seal tours – Boat tours, 8 minutes drive from the cottages. · Richibucto River vineyards, 22 minutes drive from the cottages. · Close to Miramichi, 55 minutes drive, were you can enjoy a relaxing tubing excursion on the river with friends and family. Right in the center of the major city in the maritime bubble: · Charlottetown is 2 hours and 30 minutes away · Halifax is 3 hours and 20 minutes away · Fredericton is 2 hours and 10 minutes away · Saint John is 2 hours and 20 minutes away · Moncton is 1 hour away.
