The charming village of Kelling is an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk coast, with the shingle beach at Salthouse just over a mile away. Stay at this family cottage where contemporary comfort meets traditional charm, complete with a roaring open fire in the cosy lounge and a sun-trap south-facing private garden for al fresco dining. The space Upon entering, you’ll find a welcoming hall with ample space for coats and boots. This leads to the inviting lounge, a lovely space to unwind with wooden floors, an open fire, comfortable seating, a Sky TV, and a DVD/CD player. A rear hall takes you to the fully equipped kitchen/diner with seating for up to six people, an island unit, and a decorative wood burner in the original fireplace. There’s also a ground-floor cloakroom and a utility room for added convenience. Upstairs, discover the two cosy bedrooms overlooking the garden – a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a large twin room with single beds. There’s also a shower room with a walk-in shower. The en-suite bathroom can be accessed from the shower room, though it can be locked for privacy. Outside, the south-facing cottage garden is divided into several areas comprising a paved patio area with a BBQ, a small L-shaped lawn and a raised patio to the rear, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. If the beach at Salthouse isn’t enough, within 5 miles, you’ll discover the fantastic nature reserves at Blakeney, Cley and Sheringham. From Blakeney Point, enjoy a boat trip to visit the local colony of grey seals. The bustling market town of Holt is 4 miles away, and the seaside towns of Wells-next-the-Sea (13 miles) and Cromer (10 miles) are within easy reach for a range of cafes, pubs and restaurants. History enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to the Muckleburgh Military Collection (1 mile), the Letheringsett Watermill (4 miles), and Binham Priory (8 miles).
