The lovely little beach is no more than a 5 minute walk from the house where you will find some of the best snorkeling on the island. With breathtaking design and a pristine location, this loft offers a truly unique experience for those seeking a tropical retreat. Our gorgeous beach home is situated on a 15 foot bank overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Ocean (house is set back 75 feet from edge it does not overhang!). The house is a 900 sq ft modern open plan concept with a NY style loft, ceilings are a soaring 28 feet high which makes this house seem way larger than its cozy foot print. There are wonderful stylish details throughout the house that will make you feel like you are staying at the most exclusive boutique resort but with the comforts of home. The views are spectacular and with less than a 5 min walk you will be at a lovely little cove beach great for snorkeling or just laying on a floaty all day long. Property Highlights: Immerse yourself in the mesmerizing beauty of Japanese Brutalist design. Clean lines, bold angles, and a minimalist aesthetic create a space that is as visually striking as it is comfortable. King Size Bed: There is a loft bedroom with a wonderful canopy King size bed. The view when you first wake up is amazing! No better way to start your day. You will also find a full double vanity bathroom with shower up in the loft. On the main floor you will find another full bathroom with a wonderful private outdoor shower: Connect with nature while cleansing under the open skies. The great room embodies the open plan concept. It consists of the fully equipped kitchen with a gorgeous French bakery Carrara marble top island. To keep with our minimalist esthetic we have 3 electric induction hobs that can be put away when not in use. We also have a counter top Ninja Foodi oven that can be used as a full oven as well as other features including air fryer. We have every possible kitchen utensil including a blender, hand mixer etc. Full set of pots and fry pans. Of course we have a dishwasher as well as a Keurig coffee machine, Nespresso milk steamer/frother and a French press. Also in the great room you will find the living room with a very comfortable twin size day bed. Great for lounging around. You can't miss the 8 foot black industrial style sliding doors leading out the deck. The ocean view is beautiful. There is Wifi throughout the house so you can stay in touch. There is no TV but the last thing you will want to do on the island is watch TV. The layout of the house is great for a couple or a small family with a child. Unfortunately, this house is not suitable for small crawling or walking toddlers as we have the loft and staircase. Babies that are not walking or crawling are ok, we do have a pack n play as a crib. We could entertain older kids that are ok with stairs with APPROVAL. The bed for them would be the twin size day bed/couch on the main floor. There is a propane bbq for you to grill up your fresh catch of the day as well as 2 loungers for you to sit out in the sun. There is also a seating area outside to hang out and have some cocktails. Sitting on the deck looking out into the ocean is one of my favourite things to do. If you look hard enough you might even see some dolphins swim by. Snorkel sets as well as beach towels and beach mats/low lying chairs, beach cooler, umbrella are provided. Of course all linens are provided as well. We have tried to think of everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Eleuthera is one of those places that you dream of but don't actually think it exists. It is truly one of our favorite places on earth. Eleuthera is a quiet, rural island and the nearby settlement Gregory Town is a sleepy harbour town. The house is situated in Oleander Gardens in a lovely district right next to the Cove Eleuthera Resort. We definitely recommend renting a car which on the island is done by locals, there is no Budget or Hertz here, this is one of the many charms of the island. With a car you can explore a different beach every day. Let us know if you would like this arranged in advance. Please note that peak seasons get very busy for car rentals so it is always a good idea to arrange this in advance so you are not disappointed. On the island you won't find big tourist signs if you see a trail through the bush most likely it leads you to the beach. There is a wonderful book called 'The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera' which you are welcome to use while at the house so you can find all the wonderful beaches on the island (who knows you may just discover your own). With both the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans you will find a different beach every day. The lovely pink sand beaches are a definite must see. The house is a 10 minute drive from the world famous Surfers Beach, if you have ever wanted to learn to surf this is the place to do it. Surfing lessons can be arranged on the island, if you are a surfer already you will love this beach. We don't surf but still love going here as it is a great beach to play in the waves. Also a great beach for finding the tiniest little sea shells as well as great sea glass. For a lovely day trip or a lovely night out you must go to the very chic Harbour Island which is a 15 minute drive to the dock where you will take a 5 minute water taxi the cost for the water taxi is $5.00/person. You will find great restaurants here and depending on the time of year you will find some of the most fantastic yachts moored at the marina. You won't find any shopping malls or big touristy places on Eleuthera but with all the beaches to explore who needs that. There are quite a few great restaurants on the island, right next door is the wonderful Cove Eleuthera Resort which is very convenient when you don't feel like cooking lunch or dinner at home. Please note that we also have the 2 houses right next door. One is a 3 bed, 2 bath 1800 sq. ft house sleeping 6 people and the other is a 2 bed, 2 bath 1100 sq. ft. house, sleeps 4 (both also listed on airbnb). Three houses side by side like this is extremely rare on the island making this ideal for wedding parties, family reunions where a large group would like to spend time together and not be separated by having to stay in different parts of the island. Even though the houses are not exactly the same, the look, feel and vibe are very similar and the amenities are the same no matter which house you are in. We have a full size washer and dryer for washing your clothes if needed. Secluded Beach Access: Just a 5-minute walk away, you'll discover a private and secluded beach. Embrace the serenity of your surroundings as you bask in the sun, take leisurely strolls, or go for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. PLEASE NOTE: We do have a 7 night minimum for Christmas and New Years weeks. As well Dec 25 and Dec 31 cannot be in the same week. Typically Christmas week would begin Dec 21 and New Years week Dec 28 but we can be flexible depending on if dates are already booked.
