The ground floor comprises of a cosy living room with wood burning stove, and small but perfectly formed kitchen complete with single electric Aga and rear garden views. Flag stone stairs lead to a double bedroom with beamed ceiling, original wooden floorboards and ornamental Hobbit stove. The spacious bathroom with free-standing bath is straight out of the pages of a home and lifestyle magazine. If that wasn't enough, the cottage has a further cloakroom with WC and utility room with washing machine as you walk outside towards the rear garden. This lockable outbuilding is ideal for bike storage and muddy boots. An app operated EV charger is available at the property. Outside, the south facing garden is laid to lawn and bordered by a mature flower bed. The perfect spot for quietly relaxing, whether it be in the garden egg seat with your holiday paperback, or dining al fresco under the evening sun whilst sipping your favourite tipple. This stunning couples retreat is perfect for those who want some well-earned time out in a beautiful village setting, accompanied by the chance to explore the beauty of Yorkshire. Additional Information: A good supply of logs is provided to get you started. Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). One babe in arms under six months is welcome in own Moses basket. Sorry this cottage is unable to accommodate older children. Guest access Ground Floor: Entrance leading to Sitting/dining room With a multi-fuel stove, Smart television, comfortable seating and dining table with two chairs. Kitchen With an electric Aga and hob, fridge and microwave. Utility room (outside) With a washer/dryer, sink and freezer and underfloor heating. Cloakroom With a WC, wash basin and underfloor heating. First Floor: Steep steps leading to Master bedroom With a 4'6 double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and ornamental Hobbit stove (please be aware this is not to be lit). Bathroom With a free-standing bath a handheld shower attachment, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.. Outside: Garden to the rear of the cottage with comfortable egg seat and table with two chairs. Secure bike storage in the utility room. Parking at the side of the cottage to fit a small car. Additional free parking can be found on the road through the the village.
