The space Violet Cottage was built in1905 and has been subjected to soil movement as are all buildings in the area. There are cracks in the walls. A building inspection has assured us that the old girl is not in danger of falling down. Other things to note If you do not like old buildings with a bit of character and not perfect please do not book with us My cleaning lady gets very offended when people say the house is dusty and the floors not clean. Everything is dusted and washed before every guest. It is not dirty just old.
