Our Inner West BnB is a beautiful vintage flat that has everything you need for a week/weekend visit or an overnight stay to see a band or catch an early flight. We have a generous 11am checkout. -10 mins drive from the airport, 5 min walk to Sydenham train & Metro. Bus stop to Newtown nearby. -Walking distance to pubs, small bars, cafes, restaurants & theatres in and around Marrickville, Newtown & Enmore. -Street parking (unmetered) LGBGTQI+ ally 🏳️‍🌈 Safe space for solo travellers The space THE BUTCHERS NOOK: Our BnB is a fully self contained one bedroom flat attached to but completely separate from our main house. It has its own entrance and has a large light filled living area, gorgeous cosy bedroom with queen bed & luxurious French linen sheets, bathroom with large rain head shower and a spacious kitchen with laundry facilities. It has its own private courtyard. Although we don’t have a ‘no kids’ policy, our space is not suitable for very young children. Maximum 2 guests. Although we are near major transport hubs we are actually in a really quiet residential part of the Inner West. No loud noise after 8.30 pm and before 7am please. Other features include: -A selection of games, jigsaw puzzles and books & DVD’s. Netflix & Prime/smart tv -Reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans in main living area and bedroom. Oil heaters and electric blankets provided in winter. -The bedroom has a queen sized four poster bed with French linen sheets. Blockout curtains. We supply cosy bathrobes and slippers. Choice of pillows ranging from firm to extra soft. -The kitchen has an induction stove, fan forced electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and a washing machine and dryer. -basic pantry which includes ground coffee for plunger or stove top espresso maker, sugar, a selection of Twinings teas, coffee bags, hot chocolate, marshmallows, biscuits, and salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There is fresh milk (just advise at time of booking your preference), sparkling and still water in the fridge. Being so close to the airport means there can be aircraft noise sometimes depending on which runway is in use. There is an airport curfew from 11pm-6am. No smoking/vaping property, including the courtyard. Guest access The entire apartment and courtyard is yours to use exclusively. Entry is via lockbox on the side of the building. If you are travelling solo, it’s a very safe area and there are extra locks and latches on the doors and windows to add to your sense of security.
