Welcome to Herron House Farm Stay Slow down and enjoy a little country time, just 30 minutes from Mandurah. Set on 5 peaceful acres, Herron House combines the comfort of a relaxed country home with genuine farm life, from our Highland cow, horses and sheep to summer days by the pool and cozy evenings by the fire. A welcoming rural escape for families, couples and those looking to reconnect with the country. The space A little piece of country life Herron House is a unique mirrored duplex inspired by the work of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, sitting alongside our family home on 5 peaceful acres. Inside, the character continues with soaring ceilings, exposed rafters and a spacious barn-style kitchen overlooking the pool and paddocks. In summer, the wrap-around alfresco is made for long lunches and sunset drinks; in winter, the fireplace becomes the heart of the home. And then there's the farm life. You'll meet Hamish, our Highland cow, Rodger and Dodger the sheep, Carrot and Tibbles the rabbits, and Ziggy our friendly ragdoll. Banjo, Mustang and Taboo are usually not far away either. Our children love meeting visiting families, and there's something special about giving kids a taste of country life, seeing the animals, enjoying the space and simply having room to be kids. Guests can enjoy the pool, garden and farm surrounds, while supervised opportunities to get involved with farm life may be available during your stay. For horse owners, accommodation for your own horses can also be arranged by prior agreement. Guest access Guests have their own parking beneath the carport at the end of the driveway, with space for two vehicles. Additional overflow parking is available if required. For guests bringing horses, there is a large area beside the driveway suitable for horse-float parking, arranged in advance. On arrival, the guest house is the entry door on the right-hand side of the property and is accessed via a secure lockbox. Guests have full access to the pool and the garden area to the rear of the carport, which are shared respectfully with our family. The surrounding paddocks and farm are part of the Herron House experience, and guests can enjoy seeing the animals from the designated guest areas. For everyone's safety, guests are not permitted to enter animal paddocks. Children must be supervised around the pool and whenever enjoying the outdoor areas. Other things to note Herron House is part of our family property, with several shared outdoor areas including the pool and garden. We simply ask that guests enjoy these spaces respectfully. As you would expect from a rural property, you'll see plenty of country wildlife during your stay from birds and kangaroos to rabbits and other native visitors. You may also occasionally encounter insects or other signs of country life. We take great care to keep the house clean and comfortable, while recognising that rural living comes with a few natural surprises. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the guest house.
