Anchorage Family Guesthouse

Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children. The space Our downstairs guest suite is a 2 BR mother-in-law unit (on the bottom level of our home) with a private entry, separate guest parking, full-size kitchen, dinette/living room area, 1 bathroom with a washer & dryer for guest use, and small deck facing the fenced back yard. Kitchen is equipped with all essentials for cooking. Suite can sleep up to 4 adults + sleeping for little ones. Master bedroom has a queen-size bed. Guests can also use the sofa sleeper in the living room for sleeping. Additional small children’s play room (equipped with toddler size bed) can be used as a playroom or nursery. Nearest dining and grocery stores are about 10 minutes from our house so guests may want to stop for food before heading up our way. Guest access Guests have a separate parking area with a side walkway into the guest suite entry. Guest driveway/parking can accommodate 2 side-by-side vehicles, up to 4 vehicles or even an RV. Guests are welcome to use our fenced back yard, and we have several yard games available as well as an outdoor grill for guest use. Other things to note To ease packing for families traveling with children, we have many children/infant items (pack 'n play, highchair, toddler bed, etc), as well as toys and games available for guests to use.
