Spacious 96 sqm, stylish, and exceptionally quiet apartment in the centre of Trieste. Our top-floor flat is just 300 metres from the Grand Canal, 800 metres from Piazza Unità d'Italia, and only a 3-minute walk from the train station. Enjoy a comfortable stay (e.g. orthopaedic pillows and mattresses) in a warm, family-friendly, fully equipped home. Air conditioning is available, and small pets are welcome. CIN: IT032006C2FL5B3YRD The space Our charming flat is on the top floor of a 19th-century building, providing a unique and historical feel. A lift takes you to the 4th floor, and a short flight of stairs leads to the 5th and last floors, where the flat is located. The apartment has recently been refurbished, combining historical charm with modern convenience. The apartment boasts a prime location in the heart of Trieste. It is just 350 meters from the charming Canal Grande, 800 meters from Piazza Unità d'Italia and the historic Old Town, and 400 meters from Le Rive, the city’s scenic promenade. The historic Tram of Opicina station is only 200 meters away, while the central train station is just 300 meters from the building, which is situated in the vibrant Borgo Teresiano district. The spacious entrance takes you to the romantic bedroom, featuring a large-sized bed (with an orthopaedic mattress and pillows) and a generous closet where you can store your clothes. The roomy kitchen has modern amenities and boasts a large oval table that comfortably accommodates six people. The bedroom and kitchen windows overlook an inner yard, ensuring a serene and super quiet atmosphere. The large living room offers ample space and includes a large double sofa bed, an additional single sofa bed, and an optional baby crib upon request. A small corner with a desk serves as a convenient workstation between the rooms. The bathroom has a shower, a washing machine, and standard toilet facilities. Central heating ensures comfort throughout, and the air conditioning/heating system can be utilized in four rooms. Guest access Guests will have full and private access to the entire apartment, including a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy bedroom, and a modern bathroom. The apartment is on the 5th floor of a five-story building. The elevator goes to the 4th floor, and then a short flight of stairs leads to the apartment. Other things to note If you're arriving by train, the apartment is just 300 meters from the central station, making it an easy walk. If you're flying into Trieste Airport, I recommend taking the train to Trieste Centrale—it's a quick 30-minute ride. From there, it's just a short walk to the apartment. If you are coming by car, consider that the street where the apartment is located is in a restricted traffic zone, you should not have access to it. Finding parking in downtown Trieste is not very easy, especially in peak season, but there are several options: Silos Parking (Piazza della Libertà, 9): it is only 230 meters from the apartment, and the hourly price should be 1.50 euros. Important note: the parking and access ramps are narrow and unsuitable for large vehicles. It offers Waybox charging stations with 7.4 kW power, installed in collaboration with Enel X Way. Parcheggio/Central Station/Via Gioia: It is only 300 meters from the apartment, and the hourly price should be 1.50 euros. It is an open-air parking lot that is quite large and often free—10 charging stations for electric vehicles. Parcheggio/Parking Rive: It is only 400 meters from the apartment, and the hourly price should be 1.50 euros. It is an open-air parking lot that is quite large and often free. Foro Ulpiano parking is 650 meters from the apartment, and the daily cost should be 16 euros. It is very convenient because the parking cost can be deducted with Telepass. In addition to parking areas, you can park in one of the many paid parking spaces marked with blue lines (found in many city areas) where you pay from 8 AM to 8 PM, excluding Sundays. You can use the "machines" or the Easy Parking app to pay, but I believe the hourly rate is slightly higher. For example, you will find these parking spaces near the houses in Via Galatti, Via Torrebianca, Via Macchiavelli, etc. An important note: In the city centre, several streets/zones have restricted traffic. These areas are easily recognizable: You will see "No Entry" signs with "Restricted Traffic Zone" at the beginning and end. Registration Details IT032006C2FL5B3YRD
