Wayside Inn (Room #22) Byrd Guest Room

Room 22 ~ The Byrd Guest Room has a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower (no tub). This room is located up the southern staircase on the 2nd floor. This room was named for the former governor of Virginia, Harry F. Byrd, Sr. He was from nearby Berryville, VA. Please note: The Wayside Inn 1797 does not have an elevator. Check-in time begins at 3:00pm, check-out time is by 11 am. The space The rooms of the Inn are decorated in 19th-century antiques, giving the warm look of days gone by. Each bedroom is different from the next in furnishings and layout. Guest access When you are a guest at the Inn, you will be free to explore many of the rooms, including 2 parlors, dining areas, and exterior spaces. All can be used to get away, read a book, or hop onto a laptop if needed. Other things to note Front Desk / Guest Check-In Times: Winter Hours: 1pm-8pm every day. Check-In is 3:00 pm Check-Out is 11:00 am ***Early Check-in and Late Check-out are possible for an additional fee*** *Please note: The front desk is not staffed overnight. We do have a keypad door for your convenience, and safety. We are also located directly beside the police station if an emergency should ever arise.
