Get out of the hustle and bustle of town to a quiet setting, yet so close to everything. Located on Cranbrook Hill, a 15 acre farm setting, large living space - approximately 550 square feet. You will have your own private entrance with full kitchen and bath, and in-suite laundry. We are a family of 4, plus Piper the indoor dog and Diesel the outdoor dog. They are friendly and loves belly rubs. The space We are situated less than 1km to the Greenway Trail, which connects to Forest For The World and Otway trails. You can enjoy the Greenway for hiking or biking, and occasionally it is groomed with classic tracks for skiing in the winter. Please note that we are a farm, and we have an outdoor livestock guardian dog (Diesel), chickens and honey bees. Diesel does bark if he senses wildlife nearby, we occasionally see deer, moose, bears, and sometimes can hear coyotes off in the distance at night. Guest access The suite is a walk-out basement style with parking right at the door. You are welcome to explore the property (careful of electric fence around the bees). We are rural, yet only 15 minutes to downtown; just 10 minutes from Foothills Blvd. There are no street lights, so it is quite dark at night (and this comes early in the winter months). We always make sure to leave lights on to help light your way in if you will be arriving after dark. Entry is via a keypad, so no contact required.
