A Cotswolds hilltop hideaway

Enjoy a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle in our peaceful rural suite with stunning views over the surrounding valley. We are in the beautiful village of Amberley, high up on an escarpment of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fully self-contained, with parking right outside your door, this apartment offers the perfect private retreat in a village setting, with several fantastic local pubs and restaurants only a short walk away. The space Our apartment is newly renovated and fully-equipped with everything you need for a luxurious stay - offering a king-size and extremely comfortable bed, snuggly sofa and armchairs, gas fire, widescreen TV, and separate dining space. Huge bifold doors offer incredible views over the valley, perfect for watching the clouds travel past while you relax on the sofa. The kitchen has an oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and an adjoining breakfast bar for quick bites or a sociable drink with the chef! With superfast broadband and strong phone signal, it is also a great quiet spot for work. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and there are room-darkening curtains and blinds throughout to ensure a good nights' sleep. Dogs are very welcome. Guest access The apartment is accessed directly from the drive. It has its own well-lit entrance with a parking space right outside. A cattle grid on the drive means the free-roaming cows and horses can come close but not too close to the house - and our flower beds! The footpaths, bridle ways and cycle paths of the 450-acre Minchinhampton Common are on your doorstep. Other things to note The apartment is on the ground floor of our family home, and is for guests' sole use. You are not overlooked - the windows look out over the front garden and valley below - and the bulk of our living space upstairs is on the other side of the house so you can be sure of peace and quiet. You may see us coming and going since our cars will be parked on the same driveway, but we are very respectful of our guests' privacy. We have a lovely 4 year old spaniel, Meg, who you may see too!
