Beautiful apartment in Kahlgrund

Our cozy apartment is located in Mömbris, in the heart of the beautiful Kahlgrund, on the edge of the Spessart Nature Park. Hiking, cycling or mountain biking are right at your doorstep. For swimming, there are several swimming pools or lakes in the vicinity. If you like it quiet, you are also in the right place, because the apartment with ground-level access to the garden is at the end of a dead end road on the outskirts. Business travelers, couples, solo travelers or families can feel comfortable with us. The space Our basement apartment was renovated in 2023, is about 55 square meters in size and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The fully functional kitchen is equipped with four hotplates, an oven and a fridge-freezer, as well as a filter coffee machine, kettle, blender, dishes and cooking utensils. A high chair is available for babies. The daylight bathroom has a shower, bathtub, toilet, sink and a large mirror. Hair dryer, towels and toilet paper are available for our guests. In the living/dining room we have a dining table with up to four chairs. The cozy couch invites you to watch TV or read, but can also be folded out and thus offers the possibility to create two more sleeping places. The bedroom has one double bed with comfy mattresses and is equipped with allergy bedding. In addition, a bedside table as well as a very spacious wardrobe, a baby bed and an armchair are available as equipment. On request, a fold-out travel cot can be set up for toddlers. We live in the same house with our children, so you will certainly see and hear each other occasionally. The huge garden therefore also offers numerous play opportunities such as playhouses, trampoline, sandbox, swing and slide, which may be used! In addition, in the garden you will find a fire bowl for cozy evenings by the campfire! The spacious and partially covered terrace with a cozy lounge is suitable for relaxing as well as for eating or working outdoors. Due to our cul-de-sac location, it is always quiet. Nevertheless, there is a good transport connection: the A 3 motorways (Hösbach), A 45 (Alzenau) and A 66 (Gelnhausen) are only 15 to 20 minutes away. It is only 50 minutes by car to Messestadt Frankfurt. But it can also be reached via the train connection in Mömbris (walk: 10 minutes, travel time: 1 hour and 9 minutes). Guest access Parking is available right at our property. After consultation, our wallbox can be used. A separate access to the apartment leads through the garden. Other things to note The market town of Mömbris has about 11,500 inhabitants, which are distributed over 18 districts. Our vacation rental is located in People's Day. This district has grown together with the main town and nestled in the beautiful Kahltal between fields, meadows and forests. In the center of Mömbris, which is only a kilometer away, there are two bakeries, two butchers, a pharmacy, a delicatessen, several general practitioners and a pediatrician. Within a radius of about two kilometers there are supermarkets, beverage markets as well as a drugstore and much more. If you love hiking, cycling or mountain biking, you can start directly at the accommodation – after 200 meters you have reached the outskirts and are located in the middle of nature. In the vicinity you have a spoiled choice between Spessartwald or vineyards and can admire the Frankfurt skyline with good distant views. For families, Mömbris has several playgrounds and has a real highlight with the newly designed water playground at the historic oil mill. The ice cream parlor on the market square should also be visited for a visit.
