The space The Space: Welcome to your private bedroom with attached bathroom inside our lived-in Wilmington home. Entry is through our main foyer. There is no separate exterior entrance. You’ll have your own room, your own bathroom, and a mini-fridge inside the room for convenience. We value privacy and keep interaction minimal unless you want recommendations or conversation. Shared Spaces: Guests are welcome to enjoy the first-floor common areas, including: • Full kitchen with access to all appliances (except the main refrigerator) • Cookware, utensils, blender, and coffee maker • Coffee station with complimentary coffee and snacks • Breakfast nook for dining • Spacious living room with TV and lounge seating • Back/Front porch areas with seating • Fully fenced backyard You are welcome to cook, eat in the living room, relax, and make yourself comfortable. We simply ask that you clean up cookware, utensils, and kitchen areas after use. Pet Information: We are pet-friendly. Our dog, Mocha, lives here. Your pet is welcome in your private room. If your pet is allowed on your bed at home, that’s fine here too. We just ask that you place a blanket between your pet and the bedding. Please crate your pet when you are not in the room. Do not leave pets unattended in the bathroom. The fenced backyard is available for relief and exercise. We handle yard cleanup, so you do not need to. We only ask that pets are supervised and not allowed to dig. Before Checkout: To help with turnover, we appreciate: • Placing used towels (and optional stripped linens) in the bathtub • Removing trash from your room and placing it in the kitchen trash or outdoor bins (green for trash, blue for recycling) No need to fold linens. Just placing them in the tub is perfect. Guest access The first floor is considered common space, except for the room (and private bathroom) you are booking. You’ll have access to the following: ✅ The cozy guest bedroom with a private full bathroom ✅ A bright and comfy living room (shared space) ✅ A sunny breakfast nook for morning coffee vibes (shared space) ✅ A mini fridge right in your private room ✅ Full kitchen access (channel your inner chef in this shared space!) ✅ Back and front porch area to relax outside at your leisure (shared space). Heads up: Please skip the formal dining room—it’s off-limits. During your stay We respect your privacy and want you to feel completely at home. We’ll give you plenty of space and keep our interactions to a minimum—unless you need us! If you do, we’re happy to help out and make sure you have an awesome stay. Enjoy! Other things to note Heads up: The ground around the house can get a bit soft, so watch your step when taking out the trash! The external cans are located being the a/c unit between the houses. Enjoy the neighborhood: Feel free to explore—it’s a favorite pastime for many. You can also relax on the front porch (it’s covered) or the back porch (it has an umbrella). Smoking policy: If you smoke, please do it off the property (starting at the sidewalk). Make sure to fully extinguish and properly dispose of cigarette butts and any other trash using the exterior bins provided between the houses. Pet-friendly housekeeping: We shampoo the carpets between pet stays to keep things fresh and allergy-friendly for our guests. We also ask that you don’t let your furry friends sleep on the beds or get up on the couches. If they’re small enough to cuddle, feel free to keep them on your lap while seated.
