Villa Jääskelä comfortably accommodates a large group in shared rooms or a smaller group in their own rooms. The house is located within easy access, in a quiet area within walking distance of the city center. Our guest rooms include two apartments on the ground floor of the Villa and the entire upper floor. In addition, our guests have access to a yard with barbecue facilities. The third apartment downstairs is for the use of the housekeeper. NOTE: Sheets and towels are not included in the price, we rent them separately for 15€/night. The space Villa Jääskelä Hanko is a traditional log house built in 1868, exuding a rustic atmosphere. Our guest rooms have a total of 16 beds. Upstairs there are five rooms with ten beds and downstairs there are two apartments with a total of six beds. The third apartment downstairs is for the use of the housekeeper. Dogs are also welcome in all guest rooms except for the downstairs apartment 2, the fireplace room. Downstairs: Apartment 2, Fireplace room (for 2): The small studio has an open kitchen, bathroom/toilet and a wood-fired sauna. The fireplace room has beds for two. No pets allowed in the fireplace room. Apartment 3, Pirtti (for 4): The spacious one-room apartment has an open kitchen, toilet/shower and a veranda. The sleeping places are a double bed and a 140 cm wide sofa bed. Upstairs: In the common areas, guests have access to a toilet/shower and a fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle and coffee maker in the lobby. There is no cooking facility upstairs (no stove or oven). Upstairs rooms: Room 4, Grandma's Chamber (for 2): The cute little room, decorated in a grandma's style, has beds for two. Room 5, Atelier (for 3): The combination of two rooms has a small room with a bed for one and a passage from the room to a bright corner room with beds for two. Room 6, Twin Peaks (for 4): The room has a double bed and two single beds. Room 7, Paavo (for 1): The small summer room has a bed for one person. Other facilities: Guests have access to Villa Jääskelä's spacious, traditional courtyard and barbecue facilities with a gas grill. Guest access Guests are allowed to stay in all guest areas of the house and use the yard. Guests are not allowed to enter the outbuildings. The third apartment apartment is for the private use of the housekeeper and thus excluded from guest use. Other things to note - The stairs to the upper floor are steep! - There is no washing facility in the third apartment downstairs, so if there are people in the house (mainly family), they will use the shower in apartment 2, Takkahuone, for washing. - Guests are allowed to use the wood-fired sauna in the fireplace room after receiving guidance, but other fireplaces in the house are not allowed to be used by guests. - The beds have pillows and blankets, but sheets and towels are not included. Guests can bring their own or rent them from us for an extra fee. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to rent linen. Price €15/guest. - Dogs are welcome, but they are not allowed in apartment 2, Takkahuone. Based on experience, we do not particularly hope for cat guests because the host is allergic to cats. We do not charge extra for pets, but we ask owners to vacuum before leaving. - We strive for environmentally sustainable operations and therefore a recycling facility has been arranged in the Villa, we hope that guests will take advantage of it.
