Ramsview Apartment - Ramshorn Mountain View!

With views of the Absaroka Mountains, the Ramshorn Mountain & "Valley of the Warm Winds" our cabin apartment is your base camp for Wyoming adventures! Five miles west of Dubois and east of the Shoshone & Bridger Teton Natl. Forrest, 1hr. to Grand Teton,1.5hr to Yellowstone National Park. World class fishing, photography, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling and winter sports our Stoney Point location fits the bill! Dubois summers include the Friday Night Rodeo, rafting, ATV and horse back adventures. The space Welcome to our cabin style apartment! The mountain that is framed in the great room window is the Ramshorn and is part of the Absaroka Mountain Range. Enjoy the everchanging views as the light plays upon the landscape in our valley! The great room, kitchen and dining area are well appointed for your stay. Two bedrooms, each with a private bath, provides a bit of privacy while staying with family or friends. The back entry deck includes seating and a gas grill. The wood stove is perfect for cool nights and watching a movie or sipping your favorite beverage. The TV is internet/WIFI (no cable) and a selection of DVD movies are provided as well as a selection of books and board games. There is a stack laundry in the utility closet for your convenience and laundry soap is included. The entry deck and stairs are very open (please see the photos) so please be mindful with children. We do not have child locks on the kitchen cabinets or vanities. Unless you request not to have the wood heat in the winter, the woodstove is in use and wood is provided. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers on site. This second floor apartment is located above our wood shop that will not be in use while the apartment is occupied. The guest book and manual are on the counter and a basket with maps and information about our area is in the great room. Guest access The entire apartment is for your enjoyment and will be open for your scheduled arrival. Please feel free to hike our hill but it is very challenging! We own to the top and along an old two track. The property markers are in place up top and please do not cross other landowners boundaries. We do not have snakes, but be mindful of other wildlife. We do have a fire pit, but you will need to contact me if you would like to use it. We have strong winds and periods of extremely dry conditions that may prohibit use. Other things to note There is Wind River access on the BLM property near the entrance to our community. A Wyoming fishing license is required.
